And, if we talk about the improvements and enhancements then let’s begin with the features introduced in Adobe commerce 2.4.3.

Performance Improvements:

  • ● This release includes improvements to the Product Price and Catalog Rule indexers that reduce indexation time.
  • ● Merchants can now omit a website from a customer group or shared catalogue, resulting in fewer records to index and faster indexing times.

Platform Improvements:

  • Magento 2.4.3 features are not currently PHP 8.x compatible. Still, the following platform enhancements will get us closer to PHP 8.x compatibility in the future.
  • ● The libraries and dependencies have been updated to the newest versions with PHP 8. x.
  • ● The library of TinyMCE v3 has been removed. Adobe Commerce has deleted the Magento Tinymce3Banner module and MFTF tests related to TinyMCE v3.x.
  • Magento 2.4.3 upgrade has been tested and found to be compatible with the Redis 6.0.12.
  • ⦁ Laminas library dependencies have been upgraded to work with PHP 8.x. The composer.json file has been updated to remove redundant dependencies.

Infrastructure improvements

This release contains enhancements that improve the quality of the framework and functional areas as mentioned below:

  • ⦁ Customer Account
  • ⦁ Catalog
  • ⦁ CMS
  • ⦁ OMS
  • ⦁ Import/Export
  • ⦁ Promotions and Targeting
  • ⦁ Cart and Checkout
  • ⦁ B2B
  • ⦁ Staging and Preview
  • ⦁ Paypal Pay Later: In Magento 2.4.3 upgrade, the Paypal Pay Later payment option is available. Paypal Pay Later is a payment option for shoppers who want to pay for an item in bi-weekly payments.

Advanced Security Enhancements:

This release’s security enhancements ensure compliance with the most recent security best practices, including:

  • ⦁ Built-in rate-limiting:

Magento now has built-in rate limiting. You can now set a time limit for repeat activities to decrease network usage. This lowers the number of destructive bots on your site and protects it from DDoS attacks.

  • ⦁ ReCaptcha Coverage Expansion:

The reCaptcha coverage has been expanded to improve security. From the admin configurations, we can add reCaptcha to the Checkout/Place Order page.

  • ⦁ New Composer Plugin:

A new Composer plugin helps minimize dependency confusion by identifying harmful packages on the public package repository with the same names as internal packages. In addition, the plugin will be used in the Extension Quality Program inspections. The generated exception by the composer plugin conditions to avoid EQP failure will be required to be conducted after the release of this version.

Adobe Sensei Live Search:

Live Search powered by Adobe Sensei provides an intuitive search experience by analyzing aggregated visitor data with artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms.

GraphQL:

Shared catalogues, Wish lists, Gift registries, negotiable quotations, and shared routes now have GraphQL support.

Bundle Products:

With the addProductsToCart mutation one can add a bundle product using multiple checkbox options to the cart. Bundle product price indexing is now done with temporary tables, which prevents locking database tables. Once you change the price to 0.00 previously after returning to the edit page, the price gets reset to the default value. The stock status of bundle items is now updated based on the stock status of their child products. By accessing a bundle product from a customer shopping cart, you may now successfully customize it.

Cart and Checkout:

When customers update the mini cart for an order containing deleted goods, they are now sent to the shopping cart rather than the product page. Shoppers were previously led to the product page. In that case, Magento 2.4.3 discards changes to the billing address form on the checkout payment step. The billing address can be modified from the checkout workflow when checking out with multiple addresses.

Page Builder:

Page Builder is now available as an extension. It can be used as a default content editing tool. Additionally, it is capable of replacing TinyMCE editor in the below-mentioned Admin areas:

  • ⦁ CMS Page
  • ⦁ CMS Block
  • ⦁ Product Description
  • ⦁ Category Description
